Display

To get the display working, you have to upgrade the kernel

Add this to /etc/apt/sources.list

deb http://deb.debian.org/debian buster-backports main non-free

apt-get update

apt search linux-image | grep buster-backports | grep amd64

apt install linux-image-5.8.0-0.bpo.2-amd64

Wi-Fi

To get the Wi-Fi working, you have to get the firmware

apt-get install firmware-iwlwifi

VLC

VLC crashes as soon as it tries to play a video. To fix this, set a variable in ~/.profile

# Fix for VLC
export LIBVA_DRIVER_NAME=xvba
